Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 01/09/2026

We want our customers to have a clear and transparent subscription experience.

1. CANCELLING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION

Customers may cancel their subscription at any time by using the cancellation method provided by Ibunda News (Ibunda Izindaba zesizwe) or by contacting customer support.

Cancellation will prevent future subscription renewals where applicable.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated at the time of purchase, cancellation does not automatically create a right to a refund for a billing period that has already started.

2. MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTIONS

The R35 monthly subscription is billed monthly.

Customers who cancel during an active billing period may generally continue to access the service until the end of the period already paid for, unless otherwise stated.

The subscription will not renew after successful cancellation.

3. QUARTERLY SUBSCRIPTIONS

The R99 quarterly subscription covers a three-month period.

Customers may cancel future renewals at any time. Unless otherwise required by law, cancellation does not automatically result in a refund for the unused portion of the current three-month period.

4. ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTIONS

The R349 annual subscription provides access for twelve months.

Customers may cancel future renewal of the annual subscription at any time.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, cancellation does not automatically result in a refund for the unused portion of an annual subscription.

5. REFUNDS

Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and in accordance with applicable South African consumer-protection laws.

Where Ibunda News is responsible for an incorrect or duplicate charge, the company will investigate the matter and, where appropriate, arrange a refund.

6. UNAUTHORISED PAYMENTS

If you believe that a payment was processed without your authorisation, please contact Ibunda News (Ibunda Izindaba zesizwe) as soon as possible with details of the transaction so that it can be investigated.

7. TECHNICAL PROBLEMS

If a customer experiences a significant technical problem preventing access to a paid subscription, the customer should contact support.

Ibunda News (Ibunda Izindaba zesizwe) will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve the problem.

8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Ibunda News (Ibunda Izindaba zesizwe) may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. The latest version will be published on the website.
